Working with individuals who identify as transgender

The Rainbow Center continues its excellent series on LGBTQ issues with a lecture entitled: “Let Us Make One Thing Perfectly Queer: Responding Clinically and Ethically to People Who Are Trans” on April 18 from 12:00 to 1:30 pm in Student Union Room 403. A discussion of issues surrounding gender identity and trans-specific mental health will be presented by Barry Schreier, PhD, who is both the Director of Counseling and Mental Health Services at UConn and an expert on the provision of mental health services to individuals who identify as LGBTQ.
